About Global Well Servicing Ltd.

Global Well Servicing Ltd. is a C.O.R. certified company established in January 2006, with one mobile single rig. It has since grown to a 25 rig well servicing company with the head office in Drayton Valley and field offices in Zama City and Veteran.

Global Well Servicing has a management staff with over 160 plus years of experience and pride's itself on having a well supported safe work environment. We have achieved this by having a strong family orientated work force; our people are professional and take pride in their equipment and work.

We have a variety of service rigs from shallow well rod rigs to deep 5000m double rigs with the capability to service & complete wells throughout Alberta. Our Goals

We believe there is a strong market for a first class, highly safe and efficient operation. Canada's oil and gas industry is gaining attention worldwide at a time when small and medium contractors are disappearing to giant corporation's buy outs, mergers and takeovers.

There is a strong renewed market for this kind of people-orientated company. In 1990 Alberta had 585 rigs with a utilization of 52.6%. In 12 years the fleet has grown to over 900 rigs with a growing utilization of 62.45%. While the large Alberta operators have up to 40 % of their fleets inactive at any time, small and medium contractors are operating at over 90% utilization.

There was a time and day that these private rigs worked steady and at a profit. It is our experience that there is a special way of business with the small contractor. They know their personnel and clients on a first-name basis. This makes for a reputable, trusted operation and receives a special long-term bond in the workplace.
